Our Mission
The purpose of the Junior Fair is to provide opportunities for Lincoln County youth to gain educational experiences through exhibition of art, science, livestock, and other youth related projects. Junior Fair promotes and rewards hard work, diligence, and creativity while encouraging good sportsmanship, sense of community, and a spirit of volunteerism. Thank you for helping preserve our youth’s sense of wonder by exposing them to new possibilities, new techniques, new mediums, and new interests.

The Lincoln County Junior Fair utilizes scoring based on the Danish System of judging, which evaluates on an individual basis. All exhibits entered are made by local youth age 0-18, as of September 1 prior to current year’s Fair.
Each exhibit entered in the Fair may be awarded a ribbon:
- Blue = Excellent
- Red = Good
- White = Fair
Blue ribbon exhibits may be considered for a Grand Champion or a Considered for Grand ribbon. Grands and Considered for Grand ribbons are awarded by section if merited.
Exhibitors participating in the Fair are in competition for the High Point Award. This will be given to the exhibitor with the highest accumulated points, on the basis of number and quality of exhibits.
